This question is one I get asked time and time again . . . “When is the best time to post on Facebook?” The answer is different for every business. But there is a simple way to experiment and see what works for you.
First things first. When was the last time you looked at your business page Insights?
Look at the top of your business page and you’ll find the button.
Click on the Insights button and the next drop downs below.
If you click on Reach you’ll find a box with a Post Reach graph. This will show you what dates (therefore days) your page and posts were most successful. You can see both Organic Reach and Paid Reach too which can be useful.
By watching this graph you can see what days your fans like to engage with your page best (but make sure you’re posting every day to see how this works best.
Then if you click on Posts you can see the last week and what times of the days were the post poplar for people to engage with your posts.
Surprisingly you might notice that you have a late night fan base or an early riser group of fans.
It’s not an exact science, but if you experiment with posts at different times of the day, on different days, and watch Insights you should be able to work out when is the best time for you to post on Facebook.
Remember never be afraid to ask a dumb question! There is no such thing. So be brave. We won’t bite!
